There are only seven battleground states that matter in this election.
Donald Trump got some bad news about his prospects.
And Donald Trump stunned Kellyanne Conway when he revealed why he may lose this key swing state.
Donald Trump says Hurricane Helene may hurt his voters’ ability to cast ballots
Kellyanne Conway interviewed Donald Trump for a Fox Nation streaming project.
Conway asked Trump about if he intended to promote early and mail-in voting this year, unlike in 2020.
Trump said he would like to.
And early returns from North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia suggested Republicans heeded that advice and were voting early and by mail in greater numbers than four years ago.
But Trump told Kellyanne Conway there was a problem.
Hurricane Helene raved southeastern states North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia.
And Trump told Conway the worst affected areas of North Carolina – one of the closest battlegrounds on the map – were heavy concentrations of Trump voters.
“We have a problem in North Carolina. We had a big hurricane and really hurt a lot of my voters. And I hope–” Trump began.
Conway interjected by noting that Trump was traveling to the region to deliver supplies and show solidarity with the people struggling to put their lives back together.
Trump worries Kamala Harris is using the hurricane to interfere in the election
The federal response to the hurricane has been abysmal.
Kamala Harris and Joe Biden took a week to show up.
When Kamala Harris appeared on the ground in Georgia, all she had to offer was $750 checks to people who lost everything.
Meanwhile, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced FEMA was broke after spending $1 billion on housing for illegal aliens since 2022.
Trump informed Conway that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden were treating the victims of the hurricane who lived in pro-Trump strongholds horribly by dragging their feet on relief aid.
“I hope that my voters, I mean, they lost their homes and they’re being treated horribly by Biden and Harris. Nobody knows her as Harris. You know, you say ‘Harris,’ everyone says ‘Who’s Harris?’ – but they’re being treated terribly by Biden and Harris. Very little relief,” Trump stated.
Trump argued the mistreatment was an intentional act.
“They’re going out of their way to hurt these people. And I hope they just say, ‘We’re going to get you and we’re going to, we’re going to not let–’” Trump added.
“You know they’re being treated very badly in the Republican areas in North Carolina,” Trump concluded.
The areas most affected by the Hurricane are areas with heavy concentration of Trump voters.
In 28 NC counties hit by #Helene, 37.75% of voters are GOP (Cook PVI R+13.52) vs. 24.23% Dem.
In 72 non-impacted counties, 34.48% are DEM vs. 28.1% GOP (R-6.37).

Conservatives worried that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden slow-walked the relief efforts in the hope it would make it harder to get these Trump supporters their ballots.
“Hard truth: the North Carolina and Georgia regions which have been devastated by Helene overwhelmingly vote Trump. Biden & Kamala are intentionally slow playing relief efforts there because these people are much less likely to vote the worse off they are,” radio host Clay Travis posted on X.
The impacted regions in Tennessee and South Carolina also overwhelmingly vote red, but they aren’t battleground states. Those people are also being ignored, but Georgia and North Carolina are being ignored because it directly benefits Kamala to do so. In a close race those voters…
