Chris Cuomo called out the CBS moderators for this insulting act of bias against J.D. Vance

Once again, the moderators were the story at the debate.

Just like in the contest between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, the moderators intervened to rescue the Democrats.

And Chris Cuomo called out the CBS moderators for this insulting act of bias against J.D. Vance.

CBS moderators pull off another fake fact check

During a section on immigration, J.D. Vance was explaining to voters how Kamala Harris opening the borders to millions of illegal aliens lowered the quality of life for American citizens.

Vance pointed to the town of Springfield in his home state of Ohio.

Kamala Harris imported over 20,000 illegal Haitian aliens into a community with a population of 58,000, imposing massive stress on hospitals, schools, and social services.

After Vance finished, moderator Margaret Brennan jumped in with a so-called “fact check” where she incorrectly claimed the Haitian aliens were in America legally.

“Just to clarify for our viewers, Springfield, Ohio, does have a large number of Haitian migrants who have legal status, temporary protected status,” Brennan stated.

Vance shot back that the network agreed there wouldn’t be real time fact-checks and then told her that he needed to correct her inaccurate statements.

“Margaret, the rules were that you guys weren’t going to fact-check. And since you are fact-checking me, I think it’s important to say what’s actually going on,” Vance stated.

Vance then detailed how the Haitian aliens were illegal aliens that Kamala Harris bent the law to provide them amnesty.

“So there’s an application called the CBP One app, where you can go on as an illegal migrant, apply for asylum or apply for parole, and be granted legal status at the wave of a Kamala Harris open border wand,” Vance began.

Vance began to explain this was far different then immigrants who come to the United States through proper channels and waiting in line for a green card and eventually citizenship.

But Vance never got to finish his answer.

That’s because Brennan and the co-moderator cut his mic.

Chris Cuomo calls out CNN

It wasn’t just conservatives infuriated by the CBS moderators interjecting themselves in the debate.

NewsNation host Chris Cuomo slammed Brennan for interfering in the debate and getting her facts wrong.

“When they were talking, at one point Vance wanted to correct something about how Haitians got into this country and he was right and the moderators wouldn’t let him correct it. It’s very interesting,” Cuomo stated.

Polls show immigration is the number two issue for voters behind the economy.

Cuomo questioned why Brennan shut down the topic when Vance corrected her since immigration is what Americans want to hear the candidates debate.

What made it worse, Cuomo added, is that Vance was right.

“Vance was right, okay? There’s nuance to it, but the bigger problem is why he was moved on? ‘We’ve got so much to get to.’ Says who? What is the schedule here? You have a list of topics? That’s not what this is about,” Cuomo concluded. “It’s about how the American people can access these two men and the two theories and the narratives and you’ve got to let them have their say.”

David Muir and Linsey Davis pulled the same fact-checking stunt on Donald Trump in the September 10 debate.

Like Brennan, they only jumped in to correct the Republican and let the Democrats lie all they wanted.

The fact-checking also unfairly prejudices the audience because most voters are hearing these arguments for the first time, and when a moderator tells the candidate they are telling falsehoods, it makes viewers think that candidate is a liar and they distrust everything else they have to say.

And since these so-called “fact checks” only run in one direction – against the GOP – Republicans are starting to realize there is no reason to participate in these network debates any longer.
