Kamala Harris is facing her worst nightmare that will upend her campaign

Aug 22, 2024

Kamala Harris has been on easy street since her campaign began.

But now she’s heading into the most difficult terrain.

And Kamala Harris is facing her worst nightmare that will upend her campaign.

The free pass is coming to an end for Kamala Harris

Vice President Kamala Harris hasn’t sat down for an interview more than a month after she entered the race.

She’s only released a few policies and instead stuck to “vibes.”

Her campaign is riding a wave of enthusiasm from Democrats and cheerleading from her public relations team in the media.

Kamala has avoided any tough questions about her agenda or why she’s flipped on her previously held far left-wing positions like supporting the Green New Deal and making private health insurance illegal.

But this substance-free campaign is going to come to an end.

CNN commentator Michael Smerconish warned that Kamala is going to have to face the music.

“Kamala Harris is not indestructible. She has served as an undistinguished, nearly invisible Vice President,” Smerconish said. “There appears no accomplishment she can point to for her most important responsibility, addressing the origin of the border crisis.”

Kamala Harris has to explain her flip-flops

Smerconish said that Kamala was trying to come up with an explanation for why she reversed herself on so many positions after she became the Democratic Presidential nominee.

“Thus far, Harris has had a free ride,” Smerconish stated. “She has not given any media interviews, hasn’t faced voter questioning. When asked recently, she said that she would give an interview by the end of the month. She said that on August the eighth.”

Grumbling has already begun in some media outlets about her avoiding the press.

“No doubt she wants more time on the clock to prepare answers as to why she’s flipped on health care, fracking, weed, and the death penalty, to name just a few,” Smerconish continued. “Sooner or later, she’s going to be held accountable and face pressure that she has thus far largely avoided.”

Kamala’s first policy rollout included a series of economic proposals that included using the Federal Trade Commission and other government agencies to impose price controls on grocery stores.

Smerconish pointed out that even friendly media outlets criticized her for the proposal.

Not talking about policy and sticking to an Obama-style celebrity-driven campaign is the strategy for Kamala.

Politico senior political columnist Jonathan Martin said that she’s going to copy President Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign.

Kamala is going to avoid releasing any detailed policy and “run out the clock” with less than 80 days until the election.

Her proposal for Soviet-style price controls revealed why her campaign is trying to avoid policy.

She’s a far-left zealot and the more the election is about policy, the worse it is for her.

Never Trump pollster Frank Luntz said he conducted focus groups about Kamala and their biggest fear about her was that she was too “extreme.”

Former President Donald Trump has to cut through the media noise and make the case that Kamala Harris is a left-wing extremist to voters.
