But now Conway is in the middle of a major mess.
And Dan Bongino issued this warning to Kellyanne Conway that will stun Donald Trump.
Dan Bongino reveals forces working to sabotage Trump’s campaign
Dan Bongino had some bad news for Trump supporters.
Not everyone in Trump’s orbit was rowing in the same direction as Trump fought to defeat Kamala Harris.
“There’s a lot of internal sabotage going on right now that I honestly did not want to highlight because I like to stay focused on the Democrats and I was hoping it would go away. It’s not,” Bongino told listeners of his podcast.
Bongino cited a Daily Mail article claiming Trump was upset with running mate J.D. Vance as the work of Kellyanne Conway and her allies.
“I suspect strongly this was a leak from people who wanted another candidate for vice president,” Bongino stated.
Conway was initially supportive of Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Tim Scott (R-SC), believing Trump needed to play identity politics with his running mate selection in order to secure a second term.
Bongino explained the friction over the Vance selection came from Conway and others who wanted a running mate that supported Joe Biden’s war in Ukraine.
Vance, Bongino added, took the American First position and agreed with Donald Trump that the war needed to end.
“Some of the other candidates were very interested in a more muscular posture in Ukraine where there was a lot of money to be made for a lot of people. JD Vance is interested in a more cautious approach to Ukraine,” Bongino added.
Bongino’s warning
Bongino then said he was going to directly address Conway and the other anti-Vance leakers
“Instead of just shutting up and trying to win now with this great ticket, there are people out there sabotaging the ticket right now,” Bongino continued.
“You’ve been warned,” Bongino declared.
“I’m going to say to Kellyanne and others: it’s time to pipe down. You’ve been warned. I’ve had about enough,” Bongino concluded.
Vance has turned into the campaign’s most effective surrogate.
It was Vance who drove the entire news cycle about Tim Walz engaging in stolen Valor.
Vance also proved adept at taking gotcha questions from the media and turning them around into attacks on Kamala Harris.
