The Democrat Party and the media rebooted Kamala Harris as a political and cultural icon.
At least that’s what they want everyone to think in public.
But Jesse Watters learned the stunning truth about what Democrats really think of Kamala Harris.
What Democrats really say about Kamala Harris
Democrats have a low opinion of Kamala Harris.
Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy clued Jesse Watters into that reality in an interview on his Fox News show.
McCarthy recounted to Watters how even Harris’ fellow Democrats from the California delegation secretly hated Harris because she was a recluse.
“You know when I would sit with Democrat members from California, they didn’t like her and they said she didn’t work with them, right? Because she’s their Senator,” McCarthy told Watters.
“I said well, ‘Do you work with your Senator?’ [They said,] ‘She doesn’t work with me.’ Feinstein would back in the day. But, no, she didn’t work with them either,” McCarthy added.
McCarthy also revealed that the White House also had no use for Harris.
Administration officials never invited Harris to spend the Fourth of July celebration with Joe Biden on the Truman Balcony until this year, when it became clear Democrats would force Biden out of the race and Kamala Harris needed all the photo ops she could get to look like a real Presidential candidate.
“It didn’t seem that the White House would ever be interested in what she had to say or what position she had to take. Even when it came down to the 4th of July, she only got invited up to the Truman balcony this year, when he [President Joe Biden] was about to back out,” McCarthy continued.
The state of the race
McCarthy believes Harris experienced a sugar high surge in the polls thanks to the relief on the part of Democrats that the cognitively impaired Joe Biden was no longer their candidate.
The former Speaker of the House compared this election to 1988 when Democrat nominee Michael Dukakis raced out to a 17-point leader over Vice President George H.W. Bush following the Democrat convention.
“The only reason she’s popular now is because Biden was so unpopular. They’re just so thankful he’s gone. Wait until they get a few moments with her. This is a lot like 1988,” McCarthy stated.
But Bush erased Dukakis’ lead thanks to television ads savaging Dukakis as a soft-on-crime liberal for letting Willie Horton out of prison on a furlough program where he went on to commit further heinous crimes.
“Dukakis was sitting in mid July 17 points up, right? Then we found out he was weak on crime, he was letting Willie Horton out. Wait till you see her,” McCarthy declared.
McCarthy predicted the same fate would befall Kamala Harris.
“She’s a Soros prosecutor, she’s worse. Then we found out, we saw Dukakis and that helmet — unpresidential. Think about the decisions she’s going to make in the process,” McCarthy concluded.
