Lauren Boebert lowered the boom on a RINO for committing this massive betrayal

The GOP establishment wants to end conservative firebrand Lauren Boebert’s career.

They ran a trick play to try and hurt her re-election chances.

And Lauren Boebert lowered the boom on a RINO for committing this massive betrayal.

RINO Ken Buck (R-CO) surprised everyone when he announced out of the blue that he was going to be resigning from Congress.

Buck voted against impeaching embattled Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and claimed there was no evidence to impeach President Joe Biden.

An early resignation from Congress could let him get a head start on a rumored media career at an outlet like CNN, where he’s become a regular.

Buck’s resignation scrambles Colorado House race

Buck previously announced that he was retiring from Colorado’s Fourth Congressional District, which he represented since 2015.

After Buck announced his retirement, Lauren Boebert (R-CO) announced that she was running for the Fourth District after she previously represented Colorado’s Third Congressional District.

The Fourth District is the most Republican district in the state and is a virtual slam dunk for any candidate who wins the GOP nomination.

Buck’s retirement set up a Special Election for the rest of his term, along with the regularly scheduled GOP Primary, for the seat on the same day in June.

Boebert announced that she wasn’t running in the Special Election because she would have to resign from her current seat.

Lauren Boebert slams swampy backroom deal

Boebert appeared on Steve Bannon’s War Room podcast where she ripped Buck for leaving the Fourth District without a representative and cutting into the already razor-thin House Republican majority.

“Ken Buck’s announcement yesterday was a gift to the uniparty,” Boebert said. “The establishment concocted a swampy backroom deal to try to rig an election I’m winning by 25 points. Forcing an unnecessary Special Election on the same day as the Primary Election will confuse voters, result in a lame duck Congressman on day one, and leave the 4th District with no representation for more than three months. The 4th District deserves better.”

Ballots for the June Colorado GOP Primary will have a race for the Special Election without Boebert and one for the Primary with her.

No one is quite sure how this will play out since this is such a unique situation with a sitting Congresswoman from another district and a Special Election on the same ballot.

The establishment is banking on the confusion being able to help cause an upset against Boebert in the Primary.

Buck’s retirement means that House Republicans can now only afford to lose two members on party-line votes.

“I will not further imperil the already very slim House Republican majority by resigning my current seat and will continue to deliver on my constituents’ priorities while also working hard to earn the votes of the people of Colorado’s 4th District who have made clear they are hungry for a real conservative,” Boebert added. “I am the only Trump-endorsed, America First candidate in this race and will win the 4th District’s Primary Election on June 25th and General Election on November 5th.”

The establishment is pulling out all the stops to keep Lauren Boebert from returning to Congress next session.
