House Speaker Mike Johnson makes some bad assumptions
Speaker Johnson (R-LA) enraged conservatives with his latest betrayal – an attempt to ram Joe Biden’s $95 billion foreign aid slush fund, which includes another $61 billion for Ukraine, through the House of Representatives using Democrat votes.
Trump hadn’t explicitly weighed in on the matter up until that point.
Johnson and his allies were assuming Trump’s support because he appeared with the Speaker at a Mar-a-Lago press conference.
That proved to be a grave error on Johnson’s part.
Trump finally commented on the matter in a post on Truth Social.
In his missive, Trump wondered why American taxpayers were on the hook to fund this war when this was really Europe’s fight.

“Why isn’t Europe giving more money to help Ukraine? Why is it that the United States is over $100 Billion Dollars into the Ukraine War more than Europe, and we have an Ocean between us as separation!” Trump began.
Trump said it should be up to Europe to come up with an equal amount to the roughly $130 billion in taxpayer money Joe Biden already shipped over to Ukraine.
“Why can’t Europe equalize or match the money put in by the United States of America in order to help a Country in desperate need? As everyone agrees, Ukrainian Survival and Strength should be much more important to Europe than to us, but it is also important to us! GET MOVING EUROPE!” Trump added.
Trump also fired a warning shot at Johnson for assuming to speak for him while also reminding Americans that Russia launched no wars of territorial aggression on his watch, unlike how Vladimir Putin launched this invasion after deeming Biden to be a senile incompetent.
“In addition, I am the only one who speaks for ‘ME’ and, while it is a total mess caused by Crooked Joe Biden and the Incompetent Democrats, if I were President, this War would have never started!” Trump concluded.

Trump’s comments came after a tirade by Johnson, where he repeated every false talking point Joe Biden scripted for the warmongers in Washington, D.C.
Johnson falsely claimed that Putin would continue wars of conquest through Eastern Europe to put countries like Poland back behind the Iron Curtain if America failed to stop him in Ukraine.
“So I think that Vladimir Putin would continue to march through Europe if he were allowed. I think he might go to the Balkans next. I think he might have a showdown with Poland or one of our NATO allies,” Johnson stated.
But Putin doesn’t even have an army capable of conquering Ukraine.
The idea that Russia would then want to start a conflict with NATO – that would immediately escalate into an all-out nuclear war – is the type of fearmongering the Swamp uses to bully weak members of Congress into continually pumping trillions of dollars into the forever wars that Washington, D.C., has come to specialize in.
